Zero to Sixty | Automotive News | May 16th, 2016

Hi I’m Kate on Zero-to-Sixty with your auto
news. Up first is an interesting story for Toyota. A customer has put a million miles on a 2007
Tundra. Toyota plans to tear down the truck to find
out why it lasted so long and apply findings to future vehicles. The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 goes on sale
later this year featuring an available 10-speed automatic Chevy also renewed their contract to be the
official sponsor of Major League Baseball, a partnership that dates back to 2005. Big news for Nissan and Mitsubishi, who announced
that they have signed a Basic Agreement to form a strategic alliance between the two. This will create long-term value needed for
the two companies to progress towards the future. Currently on sale, the 2017 Sorento is the
first Kia vehicle to be offered with CarPlay. Other models in the Kia lineup that are eligible
for the CarPlay update will be announced at a later date. It’s not too late to get a chance at Buick’s
expanded military discount program. This National Military Appreciation program
will last until the end of May. I’m Kate Donovan with your auto news. Thanks
for watching Zero-to-Sixty.
