Clemson students work to build autonomous vehicles


GLAD YOU’RE WITH US AT 5:00. UPSTATE ENGINEERING STUDENTS PUT THEIR WORK TO ULTIMATE TEST AT CLEMSON’S CHALLENGE TODAY. THEY CREATE VEHICLES AND LET THEM ON A COURSE TO NAVIGATE ALL OTHER OBSTACLES. LOOK HOW THE TEST DRIVES WENT. WE’VE STUDENTS. EACH GROUP HAD FOUR STUDENTS. THEY BUILD THEIR OWN BASED ON KNOWLEDGE THEY HAVE FROM THE COSTS. USE CAMERAS AUTONOMOUSLY. STOP SIGN, AND ALL SIGNS. THEY HAVE ACTIONS AT RIGHT SIGN. THESE STUDENTS ARE FUTURE TECHNOLOGY. THEY’RE THE ONES COMING UP WITH ALGORITHMS AND IDEAS TO IMPLEMENT TODAY AND ALSO THROUGH THE FUTURE. THIS IS THE NEXT WAVE AND THIS IS NEWLY IMPORTANT FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES, TRAINING AND LEARNING ALGORITHMS. IT’S IMPORTANT FOR DAY-TO-DAY LIVING. PRETTY COOL, DON’T YOU THINK?
