AUTOMOBILE CHASSIS & it’s types

Hello Friends!!! Welcome to ‘MECHANICAL TECH HINDI’ Today our topic is ‘AUTOMOBILE CHASSIS’ I will explain the types of chassis….. and how we use chassis to carry goods and passengers If you haven’t subscribe my channel yet, please SUBSCRIBE it for more videos Before starting automobile chassis, let me explain the different components of automobile…. There are six different components of automobile This is power unit, which provide power to engine…. Next component is transmission system Next component is basic structure Under basic structure, frame, suspension system, axles and wheels comes… Fourth component is controls Braking system and steering system comes under controls Next is Auxiliaries Head light, tail light etc comes under auxiliaries Final component is ‘superstructure’ The upper body portion is called superstructure There are three different types of automobile chassis conventional chassis Semi-forward chassis Full-forward chassis Lets start with conventional chassis In conventional chassis, the whole engine is mounted in front of driver’s cabin The problem with this type of chassis is that the driver can’t see the road in front of front wheels The other problem with this type of chassis is that…. because the engine mounted in front of driver’s cabin the whole space is unutilized… and this space can’t be used to carry passengers and goods Next type is ‘Semi-forward chassis’ In this type of chassis, the half portion of engine is mounted in front of driver’s cabin…. and the remaining part of engine is mounted inside driver’s cabin The portion of engine which is in front of driver’s cabin is unutilized The portion of engine inside the driver’s cabin is used for carrying goods and passengers Next type of chassis is ‘Full-forward chassis’ In this type of chassis the whole engine is mounted inside driver’s cabin The benefit of this chassis is that whole space can be used for carrying goods and passengers The full forward chassis driver can easily see the roads in front of front wheels Thanks for watching the vieo Please Like, Share and Comment Please SUBSCRIBE ‘MECHANICAL TECH HINDI’ Thank You!!!
